What do you do professionally?

My day job is in Marketing and Communications, for a market research company. In my spare time, my favourite thing is to create content and review digital trends as I see this as my creative outlet, alongside working on my interiors page which is soon to be my business Inside House Co.

How did you get into this industry?

At university I studied Tourism Management and during this I had the opportunity to move to Barcelona and work in events where I was exposed to a range of incredible organisations. My first full time job was for a marketing agency specialising in campaigns for various global brands, I wanted to explore a different side of marketing and branding which led me to where I am currently working in PR comms.

What’s been a major career highlight for you?

Early on in my career I lived in Barcelona and worked for Ritz Carlton. During this time, I worked with high profile clients and this sparked my love for events. I met some really inspirational people who have helped me become who I am today.

What is the best personal and professional advice that you have received?

Take everything day by day, when stressed or when something goes wrong look for, solutions rather than focusing on the problems.

How did you get into making content?

It all started with my love for travelling. I have been fortunate to travel to some wonderful destinations, any chance I get I will get on a plane or go for a road trip to explore a new destination. I always try to see the beauty in everything. I take photos of absolutely everything and it never takes much of my time, people say I have a good eye and I have only recently started to accept this.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

Travelling, exploration and interior design. Different landscapes, tones and cultures play a big role in this.

What is your go-to, fail-safe advise for elevating a more minimalist look?

Getting the basics right, whether this is a good pair of jeans, a white t-shirt, an oversized shirt, a good blazer, boots or a black handbag, you cannot go wrong. If you can build a capsule wardrobe you can create minimal timeless looks for years to come. Focus on pieces that are not trending, staple items that won’t expire.

Who do you look to for style inspiration?

This one is so difficult, there are so many stylish people out there. I would say TyLynn Nguyen, her style is iconic and she focuses on staple pieces that she repeats with a tweak which I love.

3 summer staples you would recommend people investing in?

A good handbag, some Birkenstocks and a denim maxi skirt.

When searching for clothes, what features do you look for?

The colour, followed by quality, I always ask myself if I can wear and love the item for the next few years if the answer is a yes, I will most likely invest in it.

What is your favourite piece from Cefinn?

This is a very difficult question, but it has to be the Hayden cotton trousers in the colour ecru - these are super soft and can be paired with so many different pieces.

What do you love about Cefinn?

The quality and designs are timeless, the pieces are classic as are the colours, I feel that they are made well and made to last.

What is your favourite staple piece from our collection?

The Sammy Organic Cotton Oversized Shirt in stripe blue and white is stunning, the fit of this is gorgeous and can be layered and styled in so many different ways.
